Crafted with a deep connection to ancient wisdom, this round stone tile, reminiscent of alabaster, is a celebration of the revered Incan animal totem, Amaru, the serpent. Symbolizing transformation and earthly energies, Amaru is delicately coiled in bas-relief, surrounded by a constellation of Andean symbols: the deity of lightning, the murmurs of the wind, the sacred trio of coca leaves known as kintu, protective symbols for the home, the celestial hummingbird, and the furrows of agricultural fields, each element weaving a narrative of harmony with the natural and the divine.
Encapsulating this spiritual assembly is a carved ring representing the twelve Sacred apus, or mountain spirits, the revered guardians of the Andean highlands, who impart their ancient wisdom and fortitude. This piece is the work of shamanic artisans Abelardo and Luz Marina from Peru, whose expert hands imbue each tile with the rich legacy of Andean cosmology and shamanic heritage, offering a profound connection to the sacred energies and traditions of the Earth.
